About Les
With a profound commitment to making a positive impact, I bring over 12 years of dedicated experience in the disability industry. My journey has been enriched through roles with three prominent companies, and I currently operate independently as a provider while contributing part-time as a Team Facilitator for another reputable organization.
In my capacity as a Skills Trainer, I have honed my ability to manage teams efficiently and offer direct support to individuals with disabilities. My responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum of services, including coordinating appointments, assisting with personal care, providing mobility support, facilitating community engagement, and conducting life skills training. My collaborative efforts with families ensure a tailored and comprehensive support system for those under my supports.
Central to my approach is leading with empathy and understanding, recognizing the profound impact of collaboration on task accomplishment and the establishment of genuine connections with the individuals I support and their families.
My commitment extends to collaborating with healthcare professionals, family members, and support teams to uphold a coordinated approach to care. Prioritizing safety measures, I ensure the creation of a secure and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
